James Polhamus
Student Researcher
James Polhamus is a graduate student at Virginia Tech working toward a Master’s of Urban and Regional Planning and anticipating to graduate in May 2024. Originally from Gainesville, Virginia, James has called Blacksburg home for four years now and earned a Bachelor’s of Public and Urban Affairs in May 2023. His interests include economic development, local government, and transportation. James joined CECE in June 2023 as a graduate assistant and looks forward to collaborating on impactful projects with stakeholders. In his free time, you can find him enjoying Blacksburg-area disc golf courses, hiking in Jefferson National Forest, or biking on the Huckleberry Trail.
