The Western Virginia Water Authority was formed on July 1, 2004 when the water and wastewater operations of the City of Roanoke and Roanoke County consolidated. The mission of the Western Virginia Water Authority is to protect and manage essential water resources through the delivery of quality water and wastewater service to our customers. The vision of the Western Virginia Water Authority is to enhance the well-being and quality of life for our regional community.
