Will Heltzel
Student Researcher
Will Heltzel is a second-year student in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program. Originally from Warrenton, Virginia, Will earned his bachelor's from Virginia Tech in International Relations and French in 2022. Will is researching planning history, urban design, and the institutional biases that make American cities car-friendly but not people-friendly. In the future, Will hopes to work as a city planner, redesigning streets to improve accessibility and quality of life.
