Greater Roanoke Workforce Development Board ​

Goal: Bridge the skills and interest gaps in middle- to high-skill occupations within manufacturing, healthcare, and information technology. Launch a campaign to raise awareness and generate interest in these industries. Establish a training program for current workers to help them acquire the skills necessary for higher-skilled job openings. ​

Target Industry Clusters: All (Advanced Materials Manufacturing; IT, Engineering Services, & Emerging Technology; Life Sciences & Biotechnology; ​Manufacturing for Transportation, Energy, ​& Autonomy) ​
