Katie Bolling

A native of Abingdon, Virginia, Katie graduated from Emory & Henry College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in media and communications, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre, and a minor in English. During her time at Emory & Henry, she held leadership roles in several clubs and organizations, served as an editor for the campus newspaper, and worked as a marketing intern at Barter Theatre.  

In 2023, Katie joined EO as a research intern and transitioned into a full-time role as a data coordinator after graduation. She contributed to a variety of projects focused on workforce innovation and early childhood care and education, with much of her work centered on tracking data and leading reporting for Project Health, EO’s federally funded WORC 6 grant project. She is very excited to now be contributing to the CECE team as project coordinator by helping with report editing and formatting, budget tracking, data assistance, and administrative tasks. 

In her free time, Katie enjoys listening to music, singing, spending time with friends and family (including her cat, Opie) and traveling whenever she gets the opportunity.
