Localities: Counties of Montgomery, Floyd, and Giles

Classrooms to Careers will work to raise student awareness of IT career opportunities in the New River Valley and provide students with opportunities to participate in entry-level IT internships and job shadowing at local IT companies. Teachers from the three public school divisions will work with the participating IT employers to refine school curriculums and better align certification offerings, with the goal of increasing the number of students interested in pursuing IT careers after graduation.
