Daniel is a Principal Architect and Market Sector Leader for healthcare, science, and higher education at AECOM’s Roanoke office. With more than 30 years of experience, he has delivered complex projects for public, private, and government clients, including the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute and multiple Carilion facilities. Daniel has led numerous healthcare projects across the United States and internationally, integrating evidence-based research into design strategies for healthcare and academic medical centers, leading teams from visioning through construction. His expertise spans strategic planning, master planning, feasibility studies, and building assessments.

Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. He currently serves on the Center for Health Design EDAC Advisory Council and is passionate about promoting health and wellness, both professionally and personally. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys biking and fitness activities.
